Centers for Interdisciplinary Research and Applied Science (CIRAS)

These Membership Terms & Conditions govern participation in the CIRAS ecosystem. By joining CIRAS in any membership category, members agree to comply with the principles, responsibilities, and standards outlined below.


1. General Principles

  1. CIRAS operates as an international, interdisciplinary platform for research, applied science, education, and societal development.
  2. Membership is granted based on alignment with CIRAS values, mission, and ethical standards.
  3. All members commit to respectful collaboration, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  4. CIRAS membership does not automatically confer legal, financial, or political authority unless explicitly stated in a written agreement.

2. Membership Categories

2.1 CIRAS Core Team

Status: Internal leadership and operational members

Rights & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in governance, strategy, and program leadership.
  • Represent CIRAS in official, scientific, and intergovernmental contexts.
  • Uphold fiduciary, ethical, and confidentiality obligations.
  • Act in the best interest of CIRAS and the IIGO framework.

Core Team appointments are made by CIRAS leadership and may be subject to periodic review.


2.2 CIRAS Corporate Members

Status: Commercial and industrial partners

Rights & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in CIRAS research, innovation, and applied science projects.
  • Contribute expertise, technology, infrastructure, or financial resources.
  • Respect intellectual property, confidentiality, and competition law.
  • Avoid misrepresentation of CIRAS endorsement beyond agreed scope.

2.3 CIRAS Country Members

  • Public Users hold no membership rights, voting rights, or obligations.

3. Use of Name, Logo & Representation

4. Intellectual Property
