Pioneer in Applied Intuition, Cognitive Systems & Human–AI Fusion

Thomas Tankiewicz is a pioneer in applied intuition research, working at the intersection of cognitive perception, symbolic processing and advanced technological development. With more than 30 years of experience, his work explores how intuitive human intelligence can be systematically accessed, structured and combined with artificial intelligence to enhance decision-making, innovation processes and complex problem-solving.
His methodological foundation was shaped in 1996 through direct study of research from the Stanford Research Institute (SRI), where intuitive perception and symbolic cognition were investigated. These findings form the basis for his development of the MEI – Master Everything Intuition method, an applied cognitive framework used to uncover hidden structures, resolve developmental bottlenecks and generate future-oriented solution pathways.
At CIRAS, Thomas integrates MEI into technology, research and innovation projects under the initiative Beyond Intelligence. His focus lies in revealing deep informational structures within complex systems and supporting partners in navigating uncertainty, accelerating innovation and identifying strategic future options.
Key Contributions and Expertise:
Background
Beginning his career as an IT journalist, Thomas transitioned early into applied cognition and intuitive systems research. His work examines how the human brain reduces complex information into symbolic structures, how perception is shaped by conditioning, and how intuitive access can be expanded by minimizing cognitive filters.
He has trained hundreds of individuals in intuitive perception methods, developed multi-million-euro software solutions for applied intuition, integrated KI-assisted analysis systems and led numerous innovation and strategy projects for entrepreneurs, SMEs and corporate clients.
Current Projects at CIRAS
