Director, CIRAS Center for Media

Martina Hautau is Director, CIRAS Center for Media
and an accomplished multi-platform media innovator. Her work combines creative format development, strategic storytelling, and the seamless integration of traditional broadcasting with digital media.
Professional experience
With decades of experience across wellness, health, lifestyle, and coaching media, Martina has worked with public and private broadcasters, teleshopping networks, advice television, webinar formats, and social-media platforms.
In teleshopping, including her work with QVC she generated millions in sales through innovative presentation and sales strategies. In advice television and webinar training, she developed formats that brought together information, empathy, and practical guidance.
Her expertise also encompasses distribution, sales, community development, and strategic network building. Since the early days of social media, she has created engaged communities and opened new spaces for meaningful digital dialogue.
Media and format innovation
Martina is known for developing formats that connect television, live experiences, and digital communities. In 2018, she created the primetime TV talk event “Erfolge bevorzugt” for Hamburg 1, combining live communication, community participation, and social-media streaming in a cross-media experience.
The production was conceived simultaneously as a television program, networking event, and continuous multi-platform livestream across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X. Each channel received content tailored to its own audience and format rather than repurposed television material.
Her ability to turn ambitious ideas into functioning media platforms is also demonstrated by the development of a regional station—including a continuous 24/7 livestream—in only eight months.
Role at CIRAS
As Media Director, Martina defines and leads CIRAS’ media strategy across television, digital platforms, social media, livestreaming, and omnichannel campaigns.
She transforms research, innovation projects, and complex or polarizing subjects into clear, credible, and engaging media formats. Her work helps CIRAS communicate effectively with political decision-makers, strategic partners, affiliated organizations, and the wider public.
Martina oversees format development, editorial positioning, brand communication, executive visibility, and media training. By connecting communications, marketing, sales, and people development, she creates a unified media presence that strengthens both the CIRAS organization and its twelve thematic areas.
She also advises CIRAS teams, executives, and partner organizations on storytelling, interviews, artificial intelligence, emotional intelligence, public presence, and future-oriented media skills.
Vision
Martina’s work explores longevity, healthy aging, cellular regeneration, nutrition, emotional intelligence, modern media literacy, and the future skills people and organizations need to remain capable and resilient.
Her goal is to establish new media standards that provide guidance, inspire trust, and make transformative ideas accessible. She combines editorial thinking with brand strategy to create authentic, consistent, and enduring communication across every relevant channel.
